Terra , the very big elephant, met Bella, a very small stray dog,and they became inseprable friends. They did everything together untill Bella had surgery. She had to stay at the sanctuary building untill she could walk again. Terra ,bing great frinds with Bella, stayed right outside the building where Bella was. Everyday the people would carry Bella out to see Terra untill she could walk again. This story remided me of Owen and Mzee, the turtle and the hippo who became best buds. I think friendship is an important part of my life. I think if I didn’t have people I could talk to and be with I would be sour and depressed. Its always nice to have someone you can lean on who has your back.
Kaylee - I agree having friends does make us happier and less depressed. I really have enjoyed reading your blogs and your photography is awesome! You have a good eye! I was looking for your joy of the day in this post - I'm not sure it's in here or did I miss it? I love that you are doing the joy of the day... I might follow your lead and try that myself. Be sure to re-read before you post. Although you can appreciate that my favorite blogger who writes for backcountry.com literally has at LEAST one major grammatical error per post. Its become one of my favorite games....
