Blog It Writing Assignment - response for article.
The article had a lot of good examples on why students should blog. I agree, students should blog. I think that because its fun they will have more interest in doing it. It said in the article that most students will try and make their blog look good, not only in presentation but in content as well. From experience I know that I try and make my blog look the best it can. Students who blog can also put picture and videos in their blog; parents and grandparents can look at what the student has been doing, especially if they are family who live far away. As it has in the article there are many reasons why students should blog.

ReplyDeleteDo you believe there are any reasons students should NOT blog? Or perhaps topics students should not blog about? Clearly, I believe blogging is an amazing way to get students writing! And, ideally, improving their motivation and self-direction through sharing passions (by writing about it!). I also believe there are topics that should NOT be blogged. Some examples would include very personal feelings or details about relationships (plutonic and romantic). I love journaling, doodling, illustrating, and writing with pens. However, I am finding quite a bit of joy in learning more about people and sharing passions with blogs. Keep up the curiousity and creativity with your work! :O)
