Blog It Assignments- nouns.
Nouns, oh sweet nouns. The quiz we took in Blog It today was alright; I liked how there was only 10 questions in the one I took, however I got two questions wrong. I kept forgetting to add my "s" after my apostrophe. I think writers need to remember to use apostrophes the right way. I'm pretty sure that once people know how to use them it's quite simple. I use plural and possessive nouns sometimes in my blogosphere. I don't think I use them all the time but I do use them when I need to. I feel pretty confident that I know how to use them well.

My First Photo Blog!
The history of this picture is quite simple. It all started when one of my favorite people ever (Mary) asked my mom and myself if we wanted to go with her to the Butterfly Pavilion. Of course we agreed to go and we all thought this would be a great opportunity to take pictures with my fancy new camera. So after a whole car ride of amazing loud music and a road down memory lane we got to the Butterfly Pavilion. The fist stop we made was at the Crawl-A-see-um but Mary and I stayed far away from the spiders and only looked at the freaky bugs that could give me nightmares. We went through everything even the little kid play place. Then finally we made it to the butterfly room. Mary and I went crazy taking pictures of every cool butterfly we could find, it was like being a little kid again. The butterfly in this picture was Mary's butterfly. I remember her trying to take a picture of this butterfly who would not stay still. She finally gave me a disappointing look and said Kaylee I can't take a picture of this damn butterfly, will you try to get a good one. Of course I got one and I will never forget how happy she was that there was a decent picture of her butterfly.
Blog it assignments- Mena Trott
In class today we got to watch a video about Mena Trott speaking about blogs. I really liked how we discussed everything in class, even though no one talked much opportunity was nice to have. When we watched Mena's speech she had mentioned a guy who could make money and support his family because of his blog. It made me wonder how many people use their blogs for something other than what I and most others use it for. I really liked how she used media in her speech; It made it more compelling for me. she discussed how she blogged about how her husband wouldn't let her buy a banjo, then a lot of people emailed her how he was such a jerk and she should leave him. I was thinking jeeze people take things so seriously and how things can sometimes be misunderstood in writing. I want to really try hard to get my point across without being misunderstood.

Blog it assignments- Run on sentences and fragments.
In Blog it we had to take a quiz about run on sentences and fragments. We had the choice between two quizzes, I decided to do the second quiz. I liked the quiz just because it made me feel so smart. I got every question right! The quiz I took gave you silly prizes--not real prizes you can have but you can enjoy them on the screen. The quiz was only about fragments, but I'm pretty sure I know what a run on sentence is. Writes need to remember to use punctuation even thought they are writing fast to get everything out. In my blogosphere I don't really notice if I have run on sentences or fragments. If I do I would really like to know so that I can make an effort to become a better writer. My example of a run on sentence: Today I was hiking up a very large mountain and I saw a bunch of wild turkeys they looked at me and squawked then hurried off as I kept walking I ran into a big giant bear luckily I had a companion with me so as we ran from the bear I tripped my companion and I got away from the bear unfortunately my companion did not. My example of a fragment: Hiking up the mountain. If you ever need help with run on sentences or fragments I suggest you watch This video.

It's Cray What Photoshop Can Do.
Now a days most teens and even adults are always comparing and judging themselves and others. To top it off we have beauty magazines, TV shows, ect. with the perception of the perfect dream girl. The video I posted to this post is to show how different the girls we see are from the real thing.
Blog It Writing Assignment.
To be Self-Directed it helps to be independent. Although to be Self-Directed is not the same as Being independent. To be Self-Directed is to go out of your way to direct yourself to do things you are suppose to do. Where independent is to be alone away from others. My examples of be being Self-Directed is when I Worked on all my homework and my passage proposals at my church and at home during my free time. I think that blogging can be connected to Self-Direction when you blog about being Self-Directed. I'm not exactly sure how blogging can be connected to Self-Direction other than that.

Blog It Writing Assignment - response for article.
The article had a lot of good examples on why students should blog. I agree, students should blog. I think that because its fun they will have more interest in doing it. It said in the article that most students will try and make their blog look good, not only in presentation but in content as well. From experience I know that I try and make my blog look the best it can. Students who blog can also put picture and videos in their blog; parents and grandparents can look at what the student has been doing, especially if they are family who live far away. As it has in the article there are many reasons why students should blog.

What Shipping Does to Me
I had ordered somethings online and I was waiting for it to be delivered. I was checking the online tracker to tell me where it was in the process. It said that it was suppose to be delivered that day. I was waiting for it all day then all of a sudden I herd what sounded like a FedEx truck coming down the street. I got up and looked out of my bedroom window (from my window you can see the whole street) I saw the FedEx truck going down the culdesac right across the street. I sat there and Watched the FedEx man get out of the truck and place a package on someones door step. I watched as the FedEx man got back into the truck and drive out of the culdesac. I was so excited because I thought for sure he was going to come down my culdesac next. Then my heart broke because he made a turn and left our street. I finally realized that they had put my package in the mail box instead of delivering it to my doorstep

The School That Changes Lives.
I have been going to the same school since preschool. It's not like other school where you get grades and have to sit in desks. Instead of a school its a home. Instead of class mates and teachers we are a community. We are not told what to do we are asked what we would like to do. I guess you can say we are a hippy school but I like to think of it as a chance to make a change not only in your life but in others. We don't have sports but my oh my the trips we take ... there are no words to explain them. A few places we have been to are Africa, Ireland, Japan Hawaii and so much more that we have a map with pins marking everywhere we have gone. There are not very many chances where you get the opportunity to be involved in something so huge but luckily I do get that opportunity.
